Homewalk Holiday Festival 2020


Due to the challenges of 2020 the Zonta Holiday Homewalk is going virtual with the Homewalk Holiday Festival packed with fun activities for you and your family to enjoy from the comfort of your home. Look for the traditional Homewalk to return in 2021! Join the fun and support scholarships for women and grants for area non-profits.

LUNAFEST Midland 2020, Hosted By the Zonta Club of Midland

Short Films By and About Women. Rated Equal™
This unique film festival highlights women as leaders in society, illustrated through seven short films by women filmmakers. The films range from animation to fictional drama, and cover topics such as women’s health, body image, relationships, cultural diversity and breaking barriers.


The Films: This season’s program of seven selected films will compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings and motivate you to make a difference in your community. Incredibly diverse in style and content, LUNAFEST is united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling - by, for and about women. The total run time of this season's program is about 96 minutes. Parents with children under 13 are strongly cautioned.  Click here to learn about the films.

View these unique films from the comfort of your home! The Vimeo link and password will be mailed to each ticket holder separately. The films will be available for you to watch starting at noon on December 5th for 24 hours.

Sponsorships and Donations

Funds raised by Homewalk Holiday Festival support scholarships and service grants. The club has raised and distributed over $550,000 over the years. The scholarships for area women that are for women re-entering the workforce or who are in the workforce going back to school as well as students entering/vocational certification directly from high school. The 2019 Homewalk provided six scholarships of $2,500 each. Service grants are provided to area non-profits to support programs that provide services for women and girls locally. Organizations apply each winter for funding for specific programs and in the spring of 2020 $11,400 was awarded. 

Sponsorships, donations and proceeds from the film festival and auction will allow us to continue making a difference. The Zonta Club of Midland is a 501(c)4 organization, donations may qualify as a business expense - please see your tax advisor.​

Make a Donation

​Donations may also be made directly through the 
Midland Area Community Foundation (MACF) by specifying the Zonta Club of Midland Endowed Scholarship Fund. Donations made through the MACF may be deductible as a charitable donation.  ​
