The Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships is designed to encourage women to enter careers and to seek leadership positions in business-related fields in their communities and throughout the world. The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships look to the women of today to be the leaders of tomorrow.
Established in 1998 from a generous bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York USA, and the 1990-1995 Zonta International Parliamentarian, the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship is awarded annually to women pursuing undergraduate or Master's degrees in business management. Women pursuing a business or business-related degree who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field are eligible. Online students are also eligible.
The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are awarded annually and may be used for tuition, books or living expenses at any university, college or institution offering accredited business courses and degrees.
Zonta Club of Midland is offering a $500 scholarship to one applicant to our club. Applications are due to June 1st. Submit applications to [email protected] or mail to Women in Service, Zonta Club of Midland, P.O. Box 196, Midland, MI 48640-0196. The local winner will compete for one of 37 international scholarships of US$5,000 offered by Zonta International. Each district/region may submit one applicant for consideration for an international scholarship.
